1. Completed an Electroglottograph, which is very useful for doctors, and researchers for diagnostic speech related problems.
2. Spectral subtraction technique is implemented and used for enhancing the speech quality of a person using artificial larynx. It will help the people who have lost their vocal folds and have only artificial larynx for speech communication.
3. Harmonic plus noise based synthesizer is developed for high quality in Indian languages.
4. Experimentations for converting the speech of one speaker to that of another.
5. Suggested innovative solution for avoiding bird’s hits to planes.

During 2003 as per the UGC guidelines the syllabi of M.Sc. 3rd and 4th Semester for Solid State Physics specialization was reformulated and was given a new name i.e., Condensed Matter Physics.
From time to time upgrading the syllabi for M.Sc., and M.Phil., programme of the department in the subject matter of Condensed Matter Physics
