Use of LCD, OHP & Slide projectors have been introduced in the teaching & learning process.

Not individually but the department has been providing consultancy for various minor projects sponsored by NHPC and NGO’s etc. to the department and Worked as one of the members/consultants of the team.

Pond fish culture, Fish pond Management, Aquatic Pollution, Waste Management etc.

Arranged for placement of few students in Degree Colleges & B.Ed colleges as lecturers, in NHPC as Scientist, in Research Laboratories as scientists, providing them guidance/training to appear in various competitive exams like KAS, NET, SLET etc.

Since, environmental Awareness/Education from an important component of Environmental Studies, the department is organizing regularly & frequently awareness programmes in the field, aimed at awareness creation among the mass especially youth & Rural Women folk about our Environment, its deterioration, the causes of its deterioration & measures to be adopted for its protection & conservation. For this purpose, I have been given the job/responsibility of organizing such programmes. With these aims in view, I have organised till date more than 55 Environmental Awareness Programmes by way of lectures, demonstrations, door-to-door campaign, public meetings,debates, competitions, rallies, drives & a number of field study trips of the students within & outside the State.
