As Convenor, Board Of Studies In Home Science, I Have Made Efforts For Systematic Revisions Of U.G And P.G Curricula On An Yearly Basis. In 2002, All Home Science Courses Were Revised As Per The UGC National Frame Work Curriculum. During Later Years After Its Adoption, All The Courses Are Being Reframed And Revised As A Continuous Process. Major Revision Of U.G. & P.G Courses is being undertaken presently (2008).

Classroom environment made more student friendly.
EQ based interventions in the class to improve motivational factors for
better acceptability of the teacher and the subject matter. Personal counselling
and encouraging students for personality development through self introspection
are important inputs in this context
Use of OHP, computer and internet in classroom teaching
Use of other Audio-Visual aids like instructional materials published by
UNICEF, NCERT, NIPCCD etc.
Activities such as field visits, relating theory with context and
preparation of documents like files from newspaper clippings of related topics
etc.

Ø Consultancy has been provided in the following areas mainly for pre-schools / schools.
Ø Planning for setting up preschool/ day care centres.
