At present the department runs the postgraduate programme in Human Development and doctorate degree course in Home Science. The UGC model curriculam has been adopted from year 2002 . The major specialization of courses in Human Development are

P.G. Diploma Course in ECD
With effect from August, 2006, the department is
launching a P.G.Diploma Course in early Childhood
Development. This is a job oriented course and
involves training the students for working with young
children, their families and community.
