Dr. I.V Mahan completed the research project entitled
"Development in Information Technology and
Challenges for Library schools for library human
resources development", at the University of
North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC USA on a fulbright
fellowship assignment 1996-97.
Dr. Sangita Gupta
completed the UGC Minor Research Project entitled,
"Computerization of Indian Libraries: problems
and prospects", 1999.
Dr. I V Malhan and Mr.
Shivarama Rao completed the 'Gyan Tawi'
Project-Virtual Library of University of Jammu. It
will provide access to variety of Internet based open
resources on Social Sciences, Science, Humanities,
Management, Commerce etc. (Web hosting under process)
