Bachelor of Engineering :-

Admission to the Ist Semester of 4-Year B.E. Degree Programme shall be open to such candidates as have passed 12 years examination under 10+2 scheme with English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (Science Group) from J&K State Board of School Education or any other examination conducted by a University/State Board of Secondary Education recognized as equivalent thereto with not less than 50% / 40% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination in respect of open and reserved categories respectively.

Candidates having passed the above examination in Biology or Electronics streams shall also be eligible provided they have passed additional Mathematics and Chemistry subjects of the qualifying examination respectively.

" Depending upon the number of vacancies approved by the State Government Authorities from time to time, Diploma Holders with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate in any branch of Engineering from any State Board of Technical Education recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.) shall also be eligible for admission directly to the 3rd semester of the 4-year B.E. Degree Programme, provided they pass the Common Entrance Test of B. E. 2nd Semester as private candidates. The Common Entrance Test shall be conducted by the Competent Authority constituted for the purpose "
