Proficiency,
High Proficiency and Honours in Sanskrit :-
Proficiency examination shall be open to
a person who : -
A. i) has been enrolled for the programme
in a recognized institution during one academic year preceding
the examination;
ii) has his name submitted to the Controller
of Examinations by the Head of the Institution he has most
recently attended, and produces the following certificates
signed by the Head of the Institution :-
(a) of good character; and
(b) of having attended not less than
two-thirds of the full programme of lectures delivered to
his class.
OR
B. is eligible under Statutes relating
to the admission of private candidates.
High proficiency and Honours examinations
shall be open to any student who : -
A. i) has passed not less than two academic
years previously the proficiency and High Proficiency examinations
respectively of this University or any other examination
recognized as equivalent thereto;
ii) has been enrolled for the programme
in a recognized institution during two academic years preceding
the examination ;
iii)has his name submitted to the Controller
of Examinations by the Head of the Institution he has most
recently attended, and produces the following certificates
signed by the Head of the Institution : -
(a) of good character; and
(b) of having attended not less than
two-thirds of the full programme of lectures delivered to
his class.
OR
B. is eligible under Statutes relating
to the admission of private candidates and has passed not
less than two academic years previously the examination
mentioned at A(i) above.
